The Opportunity

At Qualified, our Account Manager will strive to create long-term, trusting relationships with our customers. The Account Manager will own a portfolio of existing customers, develop new business from existing clients and actively seek new sales opportunities. At Qualified you are holding the keys to our annual renewal kingdom. You drive these existing relationships ensuring that we maintain thriving, happy customers.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Owning our customer renewals by building and maintaining long-lasting client relationships
  • Developing strong relationships with customers, connecting with key business executives and stakeholders and preparing sales reports
  • Answering client queries and identify new business opportunities among existing customers
  • Liaise with cross-functional internal teams to improve the entire customer experience
  • Serve as the lead point of contact for all customer account management matters
  • Negotiate contracts and close agreements to maximize profits
  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Clearly communicate the progress of monthly/quarterly initiatives to internal and external stakeholders
  • Forecast and track key account metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Collaborate with sales team to identify and grow opportunities
  • Assist with challenging client requests or issue escalations as needed

What We’re Looking For

  • Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred in Business Administration or relevant field
  • 5+ years of proven work experience as an Account Manager, Key Account Manager, Sales Account Manager
  • Demonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence key stakeholders at all levels of an organization, including executive and C-level
  • Solid experience with CRM software (e.g. Salesforce)
  • Experience delivering client-focused solutions to customer needs
  • BA/BS degree in Business Administration, Sales or relevant field

Your Skills

  • Understanding of startup growth strategies and KPIs
  • Previous experience using account management software
  • You are a whiz with Salesforce
  • You have a way with people, and are an excellent communicator
  • Proven ability to juggle multiple account management projects at a time, while maintaining sharp attention to detail
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation abilities
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in order to handle multiple tasks and clients at once
