User Quick Start Guide

Welcome to Qualified!

In this guide we’ll go over how to quickly get started setting up your account so that you can speak with your qualified leads right away. Follow the 3 quick steps below to get your profile, calendar, and salesforce connection setup correctly before beginning.

  1. Set yourself to Available

Set Up Your Profile

The first thing you’ll need to do is set up your profile to include your photo as well as your job title, phone number, and time zone. To get to this area, click on the icon on the bottom left hand side of your screen and select ‘settings’ as shown below:

Once in your profile you’ll want to keep a few things in mind here when setting this up:

  1. Adding a photo makes you more human and appears in your chats with visitors. This has been proven to make visitors engage more as they know you’re not a bot.
  2. Some end users have placed ‘human’ as their job title to show visitors when they are speaking to a bot vs. human but feel free to place your real job title here. It will also appear in your chats.
  3. Set your phone number if you'd like to forward calls from the app to your own cell phone or other telephony system.
  4. Make sure your timezone is correct, so that Qualified can book meetings in the correct time zone for you.

Connect Your Calendar

Next and perhaps one of the most important step is connecting your calendar. Remember to set your working hours on your calendar first (in either Google or Microsoft Exchange), so that when you’re not available meetings cannot be booked.

To connect your calendar browse from your profile to the Calendar option right below in your account.

While on this page select which Calendar type you use: Google calendar or Microsoft exchange. If you’re not sure, contact your IT team and they’ll be able to help you out.

Next, you can edit the confirmation email that is sent out to your visitors after they book a meeting with you. Notice the space to also include a Zoom (or other video conferencing software) link if you have it.

In the following steps, set up your availability, minimum meeting notice, and the buffer that you’ll need in between meetings.

Connect to Salesforce

Your last big step will be to connect to Salesforce to ensure that your leads sync into Salesforce successfully. To do this, navigate to Salesforce > Connection in your account on the left hand side of your screen.

While on this screen click the blue button to connect to Salesforce using your regular Salesforce credentials.

Set Yourself As Available

You’re all done! The very last step now is to set yourself to available for incoming chats from qualified visitors. To do this, you’ll want to click on your photo on the bottom left hand side of your screen and flip the ‘available’ toggle to on as shown below.

Getting setup as a user in Qualified is a simple process with four main steps you'll want to take: set up your profile, connect your calendar, connect to Salesforce, and finally set yourself as available for chat.
