In this guide we’ll go over how to quickly get started setting up your account. Follow the quick steps below to:
The first thing you’ll need to do is set up your profile to include your photo as well as your job title, phone number, and time zone. To get to this area, click on the icon on the bottom left hand side of your screen and select ‘settings’ as shown below:
Once in your profile you’ll want to keep a few things in mind here when setting this up:
Profile Picture: Adding a photo makes you more human and appears in your chats with visitors. Visitors will engage more if they know you’re not a bot.
Job Title: Some reps have placed ‘human’ as their job title to show visitors when they are speaking to a bot vs. human but feel free to place your real job title here. It will also appear in your chats.
Phone Number: Enter your phone number if you'd like to forward calls from the app to your own cell phone or other telephony system (Qualified will never display your personal phone number to visitors).
Timezone: Make sure your timezone is correct, so that Qualified can book meetings in the correct time zone for you.
Next and perhaps one of the most important step is connecting your calendar. Connect your calendar to Qualified by navigating to Settings > Calendar, and then select which Calendar type you use internally at your company:
Once you have connected your calendar you'll notice a section labeled Confirmation Email. The confirmation email is sent out to your visitors after they book a meeting on your calendar. But when it comes time for the meeting, how will they connect with you? You'll need to add those details into the confirmation email right where it says [PASTE YOUR MEETING LINK HERE], as shown below
If your company uses Zoom, the Zoom Personal Room is a Zoom meeting room that is specific to your account. The link to this room always stays the same, which makes it convenient to share with others for quick sales meetings.
To find this link in Zoom:
Minimum Meeting Notice: This tells Qualified to not let visitors book a meeting right away while they are on the site, but rather to give you some notice ahead of time before allowing them to book. For example, if a visitor is shown the meeting booker at 1pm you can ask that the next available meeting is at least 30 minutes out at 1:30pm.
Buffer Between Meetings: This buffer allows for you to take a quick break between calls so that you can grab some water, or prepare for your next meeting.
Next, connect Salesforce to ensure that Qualified is syncing data and creating Leads on your behalf. Navigate to Settings > Salesforce > Connection in your account on the left hand side of your screen, and click the blue Connect to Salesforce button. Login using your regular Salesforce credentials.
By default your browser might be set to block all notifications from websites (including Qualified). You'll want to enable these to ensure you get alerted that a visitor has been routed to you. In Chrome and other browsers, you can click on the lock icon in the URL bar to make sure you have notifications allowed.
Getting setup as a user in Qualified is a simple process with four main steps you'll want to take: set up your profile, connect your calendar, connect to Salesforce, and finally set yourself as available for chat.
