Sales reps can update records in Salesforce or your marketing automation platform from the Visitor 360. When first configuring Qualified, you need to choose where your sales reps’ record updates are sent.
Overview
Qualified updates your Salesforce and marketing automation platform (MAP) records during live chat and Experiences. The default push destination only dictates where visitor field updates are sent when reps are chatting with a visitor and click a button in the Visitor 360, such as Create Lead in Salesforce.
The default push destination does not limit your other integrations, like Marketo or HubSpot. You can still include a Push to an External System step in Experiences when you want Qualified to push new or updated visitor fields to your MAP.
Destination Options
Qualified can connect and push updates to:
- Salesforce
- Pardot
- Marketo
- HubSpot
- Eloqua
We highly recommend picking Salesforce as your default push destination. Because reps typically chat with high-intent visitors, based on your routing and Experiences, it’s often worthwhile to push new information straight to your Salesforce org. When your rep finishes the Qualified chat, they can then seamlessly follow up from Salesforce.
Your ideal default push destination, however, may differ based on your current data architecture and MAP. If you already have automated processes that send lead or contact information from your MAP to Salesforce, you may decide to select the MAP as a default push destination in Qualified.
How to Set Your Default Push Destination
First, connect your Qualified admin account to your preferred destination: Salesforce, Pardot, Marketo, HubSpot, or Eloqua.
To then select or change the default push destination:
- Click the Settings icon.
- Below the name of your preferred destination, click Connection.
- Click Make [name] the default push destination.
