There may be times when no reps are available, like during the holidays or a company offsite. When you know your entire team will be out of the office, create an Experience to let visitors know your team will respond upon their return.
Why Create an OOO Experience
You’ve honed your website’s Experiences and your Qualified Conversations staffing is dialed in. We typically recommend routing by rep availability to capture visitor traffic when reps aren’t available—a tried-and-trusted strategy for weekends and outside traditional business hours. Should a visitor arrive on your site and no reps are available, visitors are provided a meeting booker.
There may be times, however, when your entire team is OOO, like during the holidays. Rather than “close” your virtual storefront for a few days, Qualified can capture valuable traffic even when your team is offline. Create an Experience that lets visitors know your team is out and will follow up when they return.
How to Create an OOO Experience
To create an out-of-office Experience:
-
Create an Experience and place it at the top of your Experience list. (Because Qualified Experiences launch in hierarchy order, this ensures your new Experience takes precedence.)
- Edit the trigger criteria so the Experience fires on any page of your website. From the first drop-down menu, select Current page. Leave the second drop-down menu on the default is any page on your site.
With this design, all website visitors are served the Experience. - Add an Ask a question step early in the Experience. Within that step, share that your team is OOO and consider adding a return date for extended time periods. Your CTA buttons should capture visitor traffic, like “Schedule a demo” or “Learn more about our solutions.”
- (Optional) Add an Offer a meeting step to present the meeting booker.
TIP! Ask your reps to confirm their Google or Microsoft Outlook calendars are updated with days off marked “busy.”
- Enjoy your time off!
- When your team returns, remember to turn off your OOO Experience and archive it for later use.
