Pipeline Summit Spring ‘23 is just around the corner!

Have you registered yet? Don’t miss out! Click here. As we prep for a whole new crew of amazing speakers and topics, we’re revisiting the key takeaways and highlights from Pipeline Summit Fall ‘22.

We heard from top CMOs on their take on doing more with less

Our CMO, Maura Rivera, sat down with Sarah Franklin, CMO, Salesforce, Sara Varni, CMO, Attentive, and Scott Holden, CMO, ThoughtSpot to discuss the hot topics on the minds of CMOs as we started to feel that the economy was shifting. We got some great insights into how to think about budgeting and going more with less in 2023, but one of Sarah Franklin’s gems really stuck with us.

Don't get defensive. It's a fair question to ask when somebody says 'Is this effective to spend?' It's your money just as much as it is their money. Lean into the logic of it. not the emotion. Let the analytics guide you."
- Sarah Franklin, CMO, Salesforce

We introduced the Pipeline Power Hour

One of the sessions our attendees loved the most was the Pipeline Power Hour, featuring five back-to-back rapid-fire interviews that focused on the key marketing channels we're all working to navigate.

We talked about event marketing, outbound marketing, digital advertising, inbound marketing, and content strategy, and this spring we're introducing five more channels. Listen to Julie Liegl, former CMO of Slack, and Ian Faison break down how to run an effective event marketing program below, and check out the agenda for Pipeline Power Hour Spring '23 here.

We took a peek behind the curtains of some of the biggest teams in tech

We partnered with some incredible speakers from both Groove and Bombora to get a better understanding of how teams approach alignment around some big initiatives. Kristin Hersant, VP of Marketing at Groove, took us on a tour of her tech stack and shared how important alignment is early on within your team. We also talked with Matt Buren, VP of RevOps at Bombora, about how to align sales and marketing teams around common goals and the lessons he had to learn to make things work for their team.

The more you can get alignment and secure buy-in early on before you start to scale, the easier it will be. You don’t end up in a situation where you have a bunch of technology silos and you have to stitch them together later, that’s a lot harder.”
- Kristin Hersant, VP Marketing, Groove

We learned so much at Pipeline Summit Fall '22, and we can't wait for our Spring '23 lineup of speakers to blow our minds all over again on April 20th! Click here to check out the agenda and save your spot. We'll see you there.
