Overview
Qualified AI is the fuel that turbocharges our entire Qualified Platform and each of our products. Qualified AI can learn how to speak to the value that you provide your customers, based on your marketing assets, your website, and other content that you provide.
In this article, we’ll cover how to provide content to Qualified AI, and how to check and refine Qualified AI’s content and answers. AI Settings is made up of two tabs, Content Setup and Answer Testing. Read how to set up both below.
Content Setup
Content Setup is where admins can setup Qualified AI with content and resources to be like your best sales rep. You can add information from your public facing website or your offline content in the form of snippets. Our content types include:
- Webpage (Single URL) - index/crawl text on a single page
- Webpage (This URL and it’s subpages) - index/crawl text on a URL and it’s subpages
- Snippets - manually copy and paste content that’s not readily available online as a data source
PRO TIP! Copy the URL from the search bar when adding a webpage as content to reduce spelling errors.
Add Content - Webpages
- Go to Settings → Experiences → AI Settings → Content Setup
- Click “Add Content” → Webpages
- Select which webpage option you want to use → Insert URL
- Click “Add and enable”
- When this is complete, you will see a status of “in use”
- If you selected “This URL and it’s subpages,” you’ll be able to click into the line item when status is “in use” to open up a page tree. Remove URLs that are outdated or irrelevant
IMPORTANT! If the status column has an “in progress” status for over an hour, reach out to your Success Architect or help@qualified.com.
PRO TIP! If content on your webpages have updated, click into the webpage line item and click “Recrawl.” This will ensure Qualified AI is up-to-date.
Add Content - Snippets
- Go to Settings → Experiences → AI Settings → Content Setup
- Click “Add Content” → Snippets
- Give the snippet a unique title
- Insert content in the body (doesn’t need to be formatted)
Click Save
PRO TIP! Utilize snippets for text content that’s not readily available on your website e.g. Sales Enablement materials, talk tracks etc. It’s best practice to provide as much detail in the snippet vs. a question/answer format so our AI can’t make inferences.
Answer Testing
After you’ve provided Qualified AI with your pertinent information, you can see how Qualified AI would answer questions in the Answer Testing tab.
Ask a Question
You can think of the Ask a Question tab as your playground to put in your questions to see how Qualified AI would answer them.
PRO TIP! We recommend identifying 15-20 common questions your reps get during live chat and questions important to the sales cycle to test using “Ask a Question”
- Go to Settings → Experiences → AI Settings → Answer Testing
- Click the “Ask a question” tab
- Enter a question in the “Ask a question” box and click Ask.
- Review the generated answer, and take action by doing the following:
- Review the Citations tab to see where the answers are being pulled from. If necessary, toggle off content that is not relevant.
- Provide feedback on the answer using the thumbs up and thumbs down feature.
- If you provided a thumbs down, classify the feedback (Incorrect, Not Helpful, Wrong Tone, Other)
- If necessary, create a snippet as an additional content source to be referenced moving forward.
- Before navigating away from this tab, click “Add to starred” to track the questions you care about most and rerun the questions easily as content changes.
Starred Questions
Starred questions can be thought of as your baseline or scorecard to see how confident Qualified AI can answer your most important questions. When content on your website changes or additional snippets are added in the Content Setup tab, you can use the “re-run questions” button to see how answers have changed.
Question Inbox
Admins will do their best to predict all of the questions Qualified AI may encounter, but the Question Inbox surfaces the most recent questions asked in live conversations so you can identify knowledge gaps and keep a pulse on what’s being asked on your site. Utilize the filter feature to determine themes to help prioritize new data sources. If there are important questions Qualified can’t answer, “star” it and add a snippet as a data source.
PRO TIP! Check this tab at least once a month to keep data sources up to date.
If you have access to Copilot: Suggest, Expand, and Tune, your reps can use this article to learn how to use these features.
